Image Foundry documentation
How Image Foundry Works
Image Foundry is a browser-local image reprocessing workbench. You choose a file, mark the visible area you want repaired, and the current lightweight repair engine reconstructs the selection from nearby known pixels.
Cleanup workflow
- Open a JPEG, PNG or WebP image.
- Choose Watermark Cleanup, Object Eraser or Artifact Repair.
- Brush over only the visible area to rebuild.
- Adjust repair radius and process the selection.
- Resize or export as PNG, JPEG or WebP.
Current limit.
The repair engine is lightweight local inpainting, not a generative fill model. Complex faces, textural boundaries or very large masks can require multiple smaller passes.
Provenance inspection
The inspector looks for common EXIF, XMP/IPTC and C2PA-related clues in file data. This is not cryptographic C2PA validation. SynthID is not guessed locally; reliable verification requires an official verifier.
